Summer Literacy Institute

The Literacy Program at the BU School of Education is running the Summer Literacy Institute again this summer from Tuesday, June 26th to Thursday, June 28th (with a final fourth day of online, asyncronous activities that participants have until July 1st to complete). The Institute will be held at the Four Points Sheraton in Wakefield, MA.

The topic this year is "Using Complex Texts to Support Language and Literacy Development." Three wonderful speakers are lined up to speak about why text complexity matters, how to use complex texts to motivate and engage students, and how to support bilingual students' access to complex texts.

Participants can take the Summer Literacy Institute for 30 PDPs, 2 credits, or 4 credits. Please see the attached flyer for details about the speakers, pricing, and registration.
